Red face Issue when booting RHEL AS 3.0

hello everybody

I have faced a problem with RHEL AS 3.0

when I start my pc with RHEL AS 3.0 following message is displaying on the screen and linux is not boot

" Grub version 0.93(632K lower / 1037824K upper memory)
(minimal - - likeline editing is supported for the first word tab lists possible command completions anywhere )"

with the above message displayed and system can not load further and it stuck over there.

now what will be the cause and what is to be done to reboot it in normal state.

please help me over there if some body will read this

thanks

Thats not urgent. That's just rude. Go away and learn some netiquette.

I have given the thread a better title........remember the sign in the store: "We have just two speeds here---if you don't like this one, you surely will not like the other."

First, RHEL 3 is pretty old (obsolete).

Second, how did it get this way? (It **appears** that something was changed such that GRUB cannot find it's config file.

It sounds like you have the GRUB command prompt-----do you see this?:
Code:
grub>
If so, you will be able to manually enter the commands to boot your OS--see the GRUB manual for details.

Your other option is to boot from a live CD and re-install GRUB + a valid config file.

Your BEST option is it install a more modern distro.
