Ipv4 packet source address as directed broadcast


Hi

I am sending ipv4 packet with source address as directed broadcast,but it was not discarded by Linux kernel version 3.10.61.where we are checking the source address is directed broadcast in kernel code


Note:it was discarded in kernel version 3.2.43

You can create a packet with any source IP that you want. To discard certain packets, add an iptables OUTPUT rule.
