How the /proc/interrupt list gets populated


My question is , I have configured one of my GPIO pin as interrupt pin and I want to add this interrupt pin to linux kernel interrupt handler.

Could some body tell the practical procedure to do that in 2.6.38 kernel version.

Your driver will register the interrupt handler in it's open call. See:
