Hi all,I have ubuntu kernel 2.6.16.2 in my laptop.I want to compile RTLinux kernel Rtlinux-3.2-wr.I have downloaded Rtlinux-3.2-wr.tar.tar and untar using tar -xvf command in /usr/src.Now while i do make config i have encountered following problem.
it is showing that
ls:cannot access directory
make file:526:warningverriding commands for target 'install'
schedulers//Makefile:56:warning:ignoring oldcommands for target 'install'
Make file:600:warningverriding commands for target 'clean'
schedulers//makefile:6:warning:ignoring old commands for target 'clean'

please suggest me what should i do to tackle this problem

I dont have any solutions in my mind for your issue. But few suggestions for you. You are trying Windriver's RTLinux/gpl which is, unsupported, dead project before 4 years back. There is no community for this windriver's rtlinux now. All are moved to RTAI, xenomai, Partikle,.etc. I suggest you to try either RTAI or Xenomai. My choice is RTAI. It is almost similar to RTLinux/gpl. But it has very active development & community support.
