Question compiling error with diskdump

Hi experts,

Now I'm trying to compile the 2.6.9-5.EL kernel on RedHat AS4 OS to build diskdump into kernel. But unfortunately, it was failed in the file diskdump.c becasue there were some errors.

Here are error message said:
.../diskdump.c:492: error: '__this_module' undeclared ....
.../diskdump.c:952: error: '__this_module' undecleard ....
....
.../diskdump.c:1095: error: '__this_module' undecleard ....

After I opened this file(diskdump.c) and located those error lines, I found those lines refered to 2 functions named "check_crc_module()" and "set_crc_modules()".

I also "grep" all source files with those 2 function. There is no any declaration about them.

BTW, I also set the "CONFIG_CRYPTO_CRC32C=y", "CONFIG_CRC_CCITT=y", "CONFIG_CRC32=y" and "CONFIG_LIBCRC32C=y"

So, how can I do this problem? Did anyone give me some great suggestions? Thanks in advance.

After I checked again, those 2 functions had been defined in the diskdump.h file. Since the diskdump.c also included that header file, why the kernel building process occurred error with "__this_module undeclared"?
