zip drive

I am using Mandrake 9.1 and my zip drive is not working. It actually spins up the cdrom when I mount the zip. Here is my fstab config.

/dev/hdf1 /num2 ext3 noatime 1 2
none /proc proc defaults 0 0
/dev/hde2 swap swap defaults 0 0

It looks fine to me and it worked under RH 9.

Well, /mnt/zip is aimed at /dev/sda4, lets make certain that the zip drive is actually getting /dev/sda4, what's the output of "dmesg" with regard to the scsi device scan when the zip drive gets registered?
