Xinerama on HP P6110F

Hi folks,

I just bought an HP Pavilion P6110F and am having a horrible time trying to get dual head working with Xinerama. I'm trying to essentially the same thing I did on my old PC, with the same second card, but with no success.

I've got onboard video, an Intel 82G33/G31 integrated graphics/memory controller. The other card is an ATI Rage XL, connected via PCI. Both are VGA connectors. I'm using Scientific Linux 5.3.

I'm concerned that in the BIOS when I start up, when I choose a "Primary Video Adapter", either Onboard or PCI, it is attempting to disable the other card. I don't know for sure, but I suspect. I can make either monitor work using that BIOS toggle, but not both at the same time. I can understand why making the PCI card primary might disable the onboard, but even if I make the onboard primary, I still can't get the PCI card to work right.

I'll happily provide more information if you tell me what you need. In the bottom of this message I'm including my xorg.conf file, which I modified to include the PCI card.

Thank you so much for all your help.
