The packages lost is because I stop the ping with ctrl C command? To connect I use the default Ubuntu wifi manager (network manager). You want me to try wicd?

Don't have Windows anymore so I can't try to ping with Windows.

Seems that it solved for good now. Somebody told me to upgrade the drivers

sudo iwconfig wlan0 rate 54M
sudo apt-get install build-essential
wget http://www.orbit-lab.org/kernel/comp...-rc1-1.tar.bz2
tar jxvf compat-wireless-3.1-rc1-1.tar.bz2
cd compat-wireless-3.1-rc1-1
make
sudo make install
sudo make unload
restart

and I installed wicd

What does the work? don't sure

Thanks a lot

Martin

I remove wicd and everything work, so the drivers upgrade seem to made the difference.

Thanks,

Martin
