Check the LQ HCL. Are there native drivers? Will you be using ndiswrapper?

Sorry about this, but I am new to Linux. I don't really know what you are talking about. Sorry to be a n00b.

Edit: I can't find the card in LQ HCL.

look up ndiswrapper on google check the List on the wiki. Does it say it works? If so, download, compile, and install ndiswrapper by following the Installation page on the wiki *exactly*.

Yes, it says it works. I'll give that a go and let you know how I get on. Thanks.

I got Linuxant Driver Loader, and installed the drivers for my card. But, it still isn't working. Everything looks fine in the Driver Loader. When I look in the network settings for the wireless card, the status for it is inactive. I tried clicking on activate but it doesn't seem to work. It says the following:

Error: Unrecognised wireless request "Mb/s"
Determing IP information for eth1...

Then after that, it doesn't seem to do anything. I left it running for a while, but nothing happened.

I left it activating for a while, to see if anything would happen. Eventually it just said that determing the IP information had failed...
