WinXp on VMWare on Fedora on a Mac?

Greetings,

I have a Mac G3 desktop (Blue & White), 350 MHz, 512 MB RAM. It is running Fedora Core 5 and it's working great. I'd like to put VMWare on it and install WinXP on the VMWare. Could that weird Mac/Linux/WinXP combination work?

I see no reason why it would not work, except that running something (like heavy XP) on vmware on an already-heavy Linux distribution (Fedora Core) eats up resources pretty well so you might encounter slowness..

Thanks. I figured it might be slow. I have already put WinXP on VMware on a Compaq laptop running FC4 and it worked fine, but it may definitely be slower on an old Mac. I just wasn't sure whether Windows can even work on a Mac hardware.
