Unhappy winmodem help in red hat 8


I downloaded the drivers for linmodems, but the internet config wizard in gnome still doesnt see my modem, help me please!!

ehlo,

Hi u didnt mention what kind of winmodem u have???

If it is LUCENT winmodem im sure u can find drivers pretty ez,
but honestly linux & win/linmodems == no go!!!!(only in special occasions. )

I tried for a good three or four weeks to get my linmodem on my laptop to work. In the end I couldn't do it, so I went and bought an external modem. This doesn't exactly solve your problem, but it might indicate how much trouble you could have trying to do it. Is your time worth it?
