Which parameter to use...?

Hello! I'm in kind of an annoying situation here, although I can say that I'm not new to Linux, I know very little about RAID. Recently, I acquired an IBM Netfinity 5500 server. (Quite a neat piece of machine...) But my problem is that as much as i would love to have Slcakware 10.2 on it, I can't figure out how to make it see my drive*. I've tried the scsi.s and raid.s boot parameters only to see cfdisk report that the disk is read only. Then it asks if I want to begin with a zero table. If I answer "y," the partitioning program reports that the drive has a capacity of 666Megs. (Gah bad omens.)

I'm running 6 SCSI drive total, each with a 9.1gig capacity in RAID 5. The 1st one is set for, "hot spare," while the last five are online. ...google isn't helping me much here, I'm hoping one of you guys would know the soulution. Well, thanks in advance! ^_^

Ok, not meaning to talk to myself, but I figured it out myself. Thanks if anyone tried to help but had no ideas.

For some reason, fdisk & cfdisk didn't work, but QTParted did. go figure
