I have installed Suse 10.2 64 on one sata hardrive

I have a 9550sx 3ware serial ata raid controller

14 300 gig maxtor hard drive set up in two raid 10s

When I go through yast to partition the raids it asks where to mount

how is this done?

In that case, I would consider the following mount points.

/home : User home directories (optional)

/srv : Data for services provided by this system

Thanks I will try to do that

this box has been a headache since I started here
would drop drives at random
finally discovered a problem of the firmware between the maxtor hard drives and the 3ware card

now with it being stable I hope to make this $7000 box work now with new the hard drives
