Question What would make a great Linux only store?

I have a small store but I want a on line Linux only store.
If it is not GNU or work with Linux it will not be no the site.
From time to time I will do a Linux vs. BSD vs Win X
What would make a great Linux hardware store?
I am thinking about doing compatibility testing, and howto.

That's a very broad question. There are thousands of apps for Linux, ranged from less than a meg to a couple of hundred megs plus. I would say your best bet is to offer distros to start with (at a little over the cost of a blank cd and expenses and p+p or others will undercut your prices) and offer to burn specific non-proprietary apps if necessary. That would help people with small bandwith.

Remeber not to infringe copyright - get permissions if you want to use logos - I think that RedHat, for instance, won't allow you to use their logo or name. RH9 would have to be sold as Linux 9.

Normally, a business will fill as niche (supply and demand) if you are looking at building pcs you will need to think about disk imaging or you'll end up spending hours over the installs.

Plus, at the start, you'd probably want to get money upfront or you'll be putting out money with no guarantee of any return.

There is a site called I think the Linux Compatibility Project with info on what works.
