WDT11 and Prism2 Questions

I am searching for a new wireless card, and found the WDT11. This also led to some questions on the Prism 2 chipset. However, the descriptions seem to be vague. I have a few questions on them.
1. What is this? To my understanding you put a PCMCIA wireless card into it. I am correct?
2. Does it matter what card I insert into as long as it has a Prism2 chipset?
3. What cards have the Prism2 chipset (it can be PCI, USB, or PCMCIA, just wondering as I might use it)?
Thanks in advance for all replies.
