Video Card

I purchase the Gainward FX POWER PACK PRO/660 TV/DVI 128 GFORCE FX 5200 GOLDEN SAMPLER and I notice sometimes that it shutdown or restarts for no reasons when I am running WINDOWS XP PRO.

I couldn't load RED HAT LINUX 9.0 I had to removed it and used my onboard card in order to load Linux even when I completed the Linux installation I tried booting from the card and it will not work
I will like to know if there is a problem with this card and if there is updated drivers that can solve this problem. Please send me link to the appropriate location for update

Please help! I must say apart from the above mention issues the card show great pictures.
Also could any of windows programs load into Linux and how? as you can tell I am a newbie
Contact me @ejrwijoe@yahoo.com

Thanks in advance

You can download drivers for nvidia cards at the nvidia website, follow the instructions in the README file to install and configure the drivers.

Before you attempt to install the nvidia driver you should read the instructions, then to boot your redhat install to a text prompt open /etc/inittab in a text editor and chance the default run level.
