usb3 problem

Hi there!

I installed a new transcend pdu3 usb3.0 expansion card and cannot access my usb drives
The expansion card is recognized by the kernel:

my kernel:

dmesg | grep xhci
Code:

relevant lscpi line:
Code:

relevant lsusb line:
Code:
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
There is NO dmesg output if I attach the device (Samsung M3 Station, 2 Terrabyte) to one of the two usb-3 ports. The drive works normally using usb-2.

Booting with the attached device doesn't work either.

Any ideas? If more Information is needed, pls let me know.

Thank you,
Dominik

Ok sorry for the inconvenience.
The problem was that I forgot to connect the power adapter to the transcend card.

Greetings
