USB drive problem


Hi everyone!

I have problem while trying to connect my Nokia 5510 phone; I'm running Fedora Core 2 with kernel 2.6.5.1-358; After connecting phone, I execute "tail -f /var/log/messages" wait, a while and this is what i get :

How can I "ake sure there is a disc in the drive" ? lol; it's something crazy and unusual for me If there is some explanation for this or solution to solve this problem, please post it to me, I'll be really glad; thanks in advance for any piece of help

I'm no Linux expert, but I did notice this:

Oct 4 15:49:37 RedHat kernel: sda: assuming Write Enabled
Oct 4 15:49:37 RedHat kernel: sda: assuming drive cache: write through

Perhaps these are wrong assumptions, and the device requires different settings.
