USB Device 2232:1029 - Whassat?


It's in my new Samsung 350V (Don't ever buy one of these - UEFI).

I'm pretty sure it's a webcam. If not, it's a sd card reader. The box is supposed to have both, but I can only see what looks like a webcam. Even the manufacturer isn't listed :-(. Can I look this up somewhere?

As it is not in the USB ID repository and the link to the working devices list does not work here right now, I would just request help on the mailing list . Good luck.
