I have a USB hotplug Compact Flash Reader from RCA. The CompactFlash Card is in the Reader. I cannot find the drive on my machine though and do not know what to do.
I do see the following in Yast 2 under Hardware->Hardware Information->USB:
SCM Micro USBAT-02:
Bus:USB
Class (spec): Unclassified device
Class: Unclassified device
Device (spec):SCM Micro USBAT-02
Device:USBAT-2 CompactFlash Card Reader
Device identifier:200720
[....]
hotplug:usb
My question is this: Where the heck is the CompactFlash Card Reader in the system's filesystem? I can't find it, am not sure how to mount and access it, etc.
What's particularly upsetting is I've had no trouble getting a USB Flash Disk working. I have a memory stick working perfectly via hotplug. Under the same section in Yast 2, I see:
Flash Disk:
Bus:SCSI
Class (spec)
isk
Class:Mass Storage Device
Device:Flash Disk
Device Name:/dev/sda
[....]
driver:usb-storage
hotplug:usb
I do not have a clue what the heck is wrong. I am particularly bothered that no "Device Name" or "driver" is listed for the Compact Flash Reader. I tried to add an entry to /etc/fstab to no avail. I tried to mount . Again, no luck.
