I have a 3com usb bluetooth adapter that worked a couple years ago I think, but I cant get it to work now. It does not show up in lsusb -v, and I have tried booting with it plugged in, restarting hotplug, and unplugging/re-plugging in the device. Here is the end of my log after I plug in the adapter:
usb 1-5: USB disconnect, address 3
usb 4-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 2

usb 4-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3
