Unbuffered Block Device

This question is somehow connected with my another one about DVD+RW realtime writing here at

And so if someone is aware of how to make some block device become unbuffered, the problem would be solved and the solution posted.

So please if you have any info about how to disable buffering on certain block device, i would really appreciate it.

Out of curiousity, how is this thread NOT the same as the other one? You're basically just saying "look at this thread".

The clue is that if someone knows how to tune up the disk cache for the block devices - it should be posted here. If someone knows that the problem is not with the block device, then the answer should go the other topic.
