Hi,
There is a printer here with me. It says "compaq ij 650 series" on the front. it is a usb printer. it does not print. could somebody tell me how to make it print? this is my only working printer.

Sorry to hear that. A websearch for "linux compaq ij650' does not give any very promising links either. If you are prepared to install Windows on another computer you could probably set up an SMB server and print using a Samba client. I have never tried this myself, but I can't see why it wouldn't work. Otherwise, I guess it's time to buy a new printer, but check if it's in the database before you buy.
