Trying something tricky with Intel ICH5 sound card
0000:00:1f.5 Multimedia audio controller: Intel Corp. 82801EB/ER (ICH5/ICH5R) AC'97 Audio Controller (rev 02)
My PC has two sets of audio connectors (micro, line-out, line-in), one in the front and one in the back. In a proper way, I'll only listen line-out in front or in back, but not both at the same time. With some "tricky jacking" I am able to listen line-out both back and in front.
I'm currently using ALSA, which I don't know much on how configuring (don't know much really about Linux sound implementations).
First thing I would like to know is if you know any configuration to have sound on both line-outs.
Second, and this is what I really want to use is:
In case of being possible two use both line-outs at the same time, and having two different apps using audio, I want application #1 to use the front line-out and application #2 to use the backside one.
I'll provide any info you need! Thank you!
