SuSE 8.0 and MS-6380E - can't find HD

Hi,

I am trying to install SuSE 8.0 Pro. I can boot from the CD fine, and the installation starts nicely, but claims it can't find any hard drives. I initially thought it was because all my drives were NTFS formatted. So I bought a new drive, partitioned it into two 40GB blocks and formatted them FAT32. Still no joy. Now I am thinking that perhaps the installer doesn't recognise the controller on my motherboard. It is an MSI-KT3-Ultra-ARU. The model number is MS-6380E. Just wondering if anyone has any hints.

Thanks,
James

Well I can now answer my own question - SuSE doesn't support the onboard Promise controller, however it does have a support document for a work around and drivers:

http://sdb.suse.de/en/sdb/html/wessels_raid133.html
