Stupid nVidia...

I have what XP reports as a "NVIDIA nForce MCP Networking Controller". Trying to run as a dual boot, I have White Box Enterprise Linux. For those of you who don't know, White Box is basically a rebuild of the Red Hat Enterprise package, which happens to cost money precompiled. I've tried using the normal nVidea nvnet driver, and all it does is fail at bootup-- you know the pretty Red Hat-esque one with the [ OK ] or [FAIL]? Well mine turns the pretty red [FAIL] color ! Any suggestions?

p.s. I did google it... no luck

mm... its not the video card. Its the network card. As indicated in the "Networking Controller" part. But, in case I've mistaken you, my video card is a MX440 8xAGP 64Mb. I used the drivers found right on nvidia's site, but I haven't done anything with the video drivers-- they seem to be perfect. Should I look at the video settings?
