Question Speaker Configuration

Hey to all

I have a 5 speaker system (4x small and 1x bass) and am running RH9, I got the sound working with the arsd driver but it only pumps sound out of 2 small speakers and the bass.

Does anyone know where the config file is to change this? I looked under /etc and /etc/sysconfig but couldn't find anything to do with the amount of speakers

c-media is still pretty common for on-board stuff, there should be open source drivers out there. Do you have a specific audio chipset number that you could google for?

If your mobo is asus (maybe others too), they tend to supply linux drivers for on-board stuff - go try the modo makers search...
