Question Spaceball 5000!...will it work?

Does anyone know of any ideas to get a 3D Connections Spaceball 5000 in use for 3D gaming? I think it'd be awesome! (i.e. for UT2003, Doom3, etc.) Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure it's one and the same, just under a different name or something. I know there's support for it, but only for certain programs, I think. They're listed on their web site. Check it out. Here's the link: http://www.3dconnexion.com/products/5000/
