Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Soyo Dragon Lite and Raid

ok, this is my first post, so "Hello everyone!"

Let me describe my system:
2.4 Ghz Pentium 4
Soyo Dragon Lite MB (on-board RAID)
1024 MB PC2700 DDR RAM
WD 80 GB Special Edition Hard Drive (x2)
GeForce 4 MX 440 (I know, it's not a TI...)

I think those are the important ones. Now, what I want to do is dual boot Windows XP Pro and either Mandrake 9 or RedHat 8. I have both and have installed both on a single drive. But, I want to use RAID. I currently have Windows XP Pro set up using RAID and I know I will need to wipe that off. The Soyo Dragon Lite comes with Windows RAID drivers, but not linux.

Has anyone done this before? Any ideas? I would appreciate any help at all. Thank you very much and I look forward to helping out in any way I can
