Question SoundBlaster Live! BEEP in Mandrake

Hey, I am new to Linux, but so far, have had a great experience. Except for one thing: Sound. I currently have Mandrake installed (with KDE), and have a SoundBlaster Live! card installed. I have seen people with trouble of it not working at all, but mine works (i can hear music) but ontop of the sound is this never-ending beeeeeeeeeeep that drowns out most of what I hear. I have checked for microphones or conflicting equipment, there is none. It works fine in WinXP... Any suggestions?

Whoops, nevermind. I disabled one of the sounds in KMix, and it solved the problem.
