Sound problems on startup with SUSE
After much messing with modules and alsa and whatever else I've managed to get my sound working under SUSE 9.1 Pro (Realtek AC97) , however one problem remains. When I boot, I get no sound out of the speakers (although things appear to "play" and kamix loads) . If i then go to KDE Control Centre -> Sound and Multimedia -> Sound system , and under the Hardware tab set the audio device to anything and back to OSS and click apply (so essentially resetting something?) sound works fine. Is there any way to fix this so sound works on boot, or even just a hack to run a command to do the same thing I do in KDE Control Centre when I boot? Thanks
