sonypi & 2.6.0

Im extreemly stuck, i managed to get the sonypi feature working in about 10 mins on 2.4.22 but with 2.6.0 its bloody hard.

i know to make the module sonypi from the character devices, or compile it into the kernel, ive tried both btw.

I have made the node using mknod /dev/sonypi c 10 250 and ive put the lines in modules.conf

---
alias char-major-10-250 sonypi
options sonypi minor=250
---

but i stiill cannot get it to work, even when i insmod (when i put it as a module)
it still comes back with /dev/sonypi: no such device i completed the above steps in 2.4.22 and it work immediatelly... HELP

Seems like some of the docs are outdated. Try 'mknod /dev/sonypi c 10 63'.

Georg
