some info on emu10k1 and surroundsound?

i have a 4.1 speaker surround sound setup in my room now, i have the computer speakers (2.1) hooked into the green jack on my SBLive!Value and the stereo reciever (2 huge massive speakers) hooked up with a bunch of converter cables to the black jack. currently i'm getting no sound from the stereo.

some notes:
- i've had it working before, under linux even
- when it was working, i had to turn the stereo up waay past te normal volume to hear anything

so i was wondering where i could find some info on the emu10k1's output config and surround sound whatnot.
i'm using RH8 at the moment

here's a link to the emu10k1 site
http://opensource.creative.com

you should be able to adjust your sound settings by going to (in kde) kicker->Sound and Video->Sound Mixer or in Gnome Bluecurve Hat->Sound and Video ->Volume Control

Sorry, but I don't know where the configs are for the surround sound setup, but you should be able to locate them somewhere in either an FAQ or the bug-forum at the link above.

Go the the sourceforge project page linked on the page that Slebine posted and download the emu-tools package, read the docs and look at the emu-script and emu10k1.conf files,
those last two are the key to getting peak performance from a Live! or Audigy sound card.
