scanner problem no module found

Hi,
I never had scanner problem before with mdk 9.2 but now it seems that mdk 10 does not install my snapscan1212usb automaticaly.
Here is the result in Konsole:
root@localhost normand]# sane-find-scanner

# No SCSI scanners found. If you expected something different, make sure that
# you have loaded a SCSI driver for your SCSI adapter.

# No USB scanners found. If you expected something different, make sure that
# you have loaded a driver for your USB host controller and have installed a
# kernel scanner module.

# Scanners connected to the parallel port or other proprietary ports can't be
# detected by this program.
I tried the gui add hardware program but it does not help and there is no /dev/usb/scanner or /dev/usbscanner
What should i check and where. Thxs for the help.
