Unhappy Sata driver

Hello everybody:
I have a Dell power edge SC1420 machine. There is SATA disks. And I believe the chipset is Intel 82801EB. I have to install Linux with kernel 2.4.21. But there is no SATA driver. Can somebody tell me where can I get the driver and install it.
Thanks in advance

If you install using a live CD, which several distro's do, you can usually download the right driver while you're installing everything else. Without a little more info(especially what distro of linux you're talking about) i can't think of much else to tell you.

Thank you for your reply. Basically, this kernel is based on RedHat Linux with some specific modification.
