This appears to be a windbloze printer. Samsung does supply a driver.
Openprinting.org doesn't list the CLP-600N as supported. It does list CLP-600. The driver for the 600 may work, you can try it. See this link -->
http://www.openprinting.org/printer/...amsung-CLP-600
Do you have cups installed? If not sure, open a web browser, and enter in the location bar
http://localhost:631 and see if you get the Cups home page. The is the best way to install a printer. If it is there, see what driver it is currently using.
The driver listed on Openprinting.org list the driver has these comments...
Quote:
This is a cheap network color laser printer with a proprietary language. Samsung provides a closed-source driver on their web site, the "Unified Linux Driver", a driver package containing CUPS drivers and PPDs for all Samsung printers.

You can download the "Unified Linux Driver" here -->

I would suspect this is your best bet to get it working the way you want.
