Question Riva TNT2 model 64

Officially, nVidia doesn't support it's old TNT/TNT2 video cards...so any new nvidia driver doesn't work for me.
Is it possible to get somewhere an old linux driver for my video card that will work

Yes download the legacy nvidia drivers from nVidias site. They are still supported in older drivers, which nVidia continues to distribute.
What is a Legacy Driver
Download nVidia legacy drivers

or grab them from your distros repositories.. (sorry can't tell you how since you didn't list your distro.)

Smile

for the moment it's ubuntu 6.10
will I have to modify xorg.conf ?

Thank you, I thought nvidian doesn't support them at all(the older video cards)...
but, will it give any hardware acceleration? will I be able to use the 3d desktop switcher?
