reversing videocard

is there a way to send a NTSC signal backwards? I want to buy another tvcard for my computer and recieve the NTSC signal into my computer, record it, and similtaneously pump the signal out to my television. much like having two ethernet cards. I was thinking if it were possible to redirect the signal then this idea is feasible. if not, can somebody please give me a hint on how to workaround this? thanks.

uhh, I think I understand what you are talking about, and NO, you can't do that.

just get a tv-in card, and a splitter. you can get cable splitters at walmart for very cheap.

unless you want to be changing the channels with your computer, then why aren't you just recoding the signal off your computer as is?

I guess I'm not very clear on what it is you are trying to do...
