reposition view on screen

I have Red Hat 7.3 and Win XP Pro on my box. When I reboot from Win to Linux or vice versa, I have to do some adjust to the view on my screen. The image on the screen is shifted left or right(depends from where I reboot).

I tried the Red Hat 8.0 and Win Xp Pro it worked fine, but with Red Hat 7.3 and Win Xp I have the problem.

Any Ideas?

Thanks

M.S.

you can run xvidtune and then save the line modes that it will output for you.

If you have a nvidia vidoe card and havn't installed the nvidia linux driver then you should do so.
