Hi Team

Recently we purchased the two Host bus adapter one of our RHEL5.6 server. Suddenly one of the HBA not showing up link and its shows down. We tried changed the fiber cable and SFP in the storage switch. But still we are not able bring online.

I have another card installed and that HBA is working fine with out any issue. I request your technical guidance to ensure any hardware issue for that particular card.

Host bus adapter is Emulex card. (Both card same model)

Have you tried plugging the good link into the non-working card ?

yes.I tried that too. It was working fine previously. Actually suddenly two of them carded dropped the link and i changed the fiber cable for both of them and one card is started working and other card having still issues. We tried plugged in to working port but no luck.

Do you have any idea? How do i run the hardware Diagnosis for the HBA card from the linux box?
