redhat linux 9 can't recognize my sata hard drive


I ve been trying to install linux redhat 9 on my computer but linux can't recognize it. What I have to do?

Probably use a newer distro. RedHat 9 is like windows 98. There is no SATA support in the kernel. You probably need a kernel at least 2.6.8 or newer.

If you like RedHat, try Fedora or CentOS. If you're interested in trying something else, take the two quizes in my signature (which may point you back to a RedHat based distro anyway)...
