recommended usb hard drive

hi there --

I am in the process of purchasing an external usb harddrive that will operate with a Red Hat 8 and a Red Hat 9 workstation. The plan is to use Mondarchive and create a disaster recovery image of each workstation, and save it to the usb drive.

The drive will need to be around one terabyte in size. Can anyone recommend a brand that has worked with Linux? Thanks.

Actually, I've never had one not work, but RH8/9 are (over 4 years?) out of maintenance. You really need to plan an upgrade.
