Currently i have a fortissimo2, but im thinking of buying a new sound card...mostly because its not all that great sounding under linux, plus i reckon itd be just better all round with a new one

any recommendations for a new sound card that works absolutely perfectly under linux and windows with great sound? (willing to spend up to $120 to $150)

dogmeat, just tell us! I will gladly email you for the info if you'd like (I've always wanted to check out those IR drives) but I really don't see a reason not to post where...

Cool

well, out of respect for the board i dont want to advertise, some places dont like it. The place i got the LIVE! IR dosnt have them anymore. Might be getting more later but not now. They do now have the Live! 5.1 for 38.50 and you can get COD from them, www.computergeeks.com. The other spot i got MY LIVE! 5.1 for 31.50 was at mwave.com.
