Realtek NIC

Is it possible that a NIC (realtek chip) can screw up port forwarding? The connection is fine btw, just a possible solution for a problem no one seems to be able to fix (port forwarding is setup fine, nothing else I can think of for something so basic)

Regards

Do you mean that you had a NIC in the machine, and then when you put a different NIC in, port forwarding stopped working?
