R300 Please!

This is not really question... this is more of a public notice for programmers.

The ATI graphics cards are very widely used by PC owners, but unfortunately, the latest graphics cards (Radeon 9500 and above) lack decent drivers. FGLRX drivers provided by ATI are extremely unsuitable for r300 chipset graphics cards and the drivers usually cause great memory leaks and overheating of the computer boxes. The r300 project at SourceForge has been striving for a long while to make DRI drivers for r300 graphics cards (Radeon 9500, Radeon 9700, and beyond). I really hope that people interested in gaming and programming join the r300 project because it is moving very slowly despite the hard work put forth by its current maintainers. If you own a recent Radeon graphics card, please visit r300.sf.net and offer to test out the drivers so that users of ATI graphics cards can enjoy 3D acceleration without added memory leaks.
