Problems With Dual Boot / Dual Drive Setup
I'm trying to set up a dual drive / dual boot system. currently I have a 120GB Windows XP harddrive, and a 250GB Kubuntu hardrive. Each drive has the operating system installed and running. Currently, the Windows Xp drive is set as the primary master, and the Kubuntu drive is set as the secondary master. The problem is that Windows starts automatically. There is no "choose which OS" coming up during boot. Each OS operates properly, but in order to run Kubuntu, I have to turn the machine off, unplug it, and physically make the Kubuntu drive the primary master, completely disabling the XP drive. I want to be able to restart the machine and choose which OS to run without partitioning drives. I googled it, and came up with all sorts of dual boot partitioning strategies -- but I want actual physical drives. Anybody know what to do?
