Problems with cd/r lite-on ltr-16102b

Hi.

I am using red hat 9. I am new to linux and I am having problems with my lite-on ltr 16102b cd rewriter.

The OS installed fine with the cdr, but now when I insert a cd, it asks what I want to do IE play music or browse. I click browse and my computer locks up and the keyboard lights start to blink.

What have I done wrong?

Thanks Eric

Found out what I was doing wrong. Didn't know that the CD/r had jumpers on it. The jumper was set for slave instead of master....

Oh Well
