Problems installing driver for Creative PD0040 webcam

Hi guys, I desperately need help fro you guys. I tried to install driver ov511-2.30 for my Creative PD0040 webcam. I followed all the instruction - make clean, make install. But it somehow failed. There are two error regarding to ovcamchip_core.c stating cannot identified 'id' initializer.

My OS is Fedora Core 4 with 2.6.11 kernel.

Your help is really appreciated.

Really happy to hear that man...

can you specify what version of Red Hat are you using? I think better I change the OS to suite the driver. I'm totally running out of time and energy... it's been three days my project 'hanged'. Same camera right? Creative PD0040.

Finally I got some help that have been waited for so long.. Really hope to get your message soon.

OS :
Kernel :
Web Cam :

Thanks dude...from the deepest site of my heart.. really...

Hi,
I am using
OS: RHEL 4
Kernel : 2.6.9-22
WebCam : not having any webcam that require support from ov511-2.30
Have currently quickcam messenger only which required driver and software to be downloaded from
http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...kage_id=177027

you just download new drivers ov511-2.30 and check webcam software from above link called qcwebcam-1.1-2 only
and reply back me
