I installed SUSe 9.0 off of the FTP server, all went well, it is working good and looks cool, it autodetected all my hardware, etc, except one thing:
My network card works (sorta, i can ping stuff and view computers on my LAN) but when I try to go to websites out on the net it wont work, it says "Server Timeout" or something...
what's more is that even when a site doesnt work, if i hit refres one or more times sometimes it'll work, but more often on some sites than others, for instance:
www.suse.com almost always works no matter what on the first try, and if not, the second, but
www.yahoo.com, www.google.com, www.mozilla.org, and a few others NEVER work
so what do i do? is it a local setting, is something wrong with my browsers (i've tried firebird, mozilla, konquerer, and epiphany...), network card bad, what?
hopefully one of you have had a similar problem and know how i can fix it
