problem with mouse and gentoo

hi im having trouble with the mouse, im using gentoo and im trying to configure xorg but the mouse isnt recognized
im using /dev/input/mice

if i do cat /dev/input/mice nothing happens
also if i try mouse0-mouse4 they dont exist

if i do lsusb the mouse does display there

any ideas why i have this problem?

re
oh i solved it :P forgot HID support in the kernel
